3rd for us? That would be nice. So many new faces I really have no idea what to expect. We lost a lot.
This may be the first time since I started following the program in 2010 that were ranked higher than my expectations are going into a season of football or bball.

Penny runs an AAU organization.
Pick Slick Rick up ss a lead recruiter. They will come down on us hard with sanctions but at least we get a year or 2 of big time BB.
Gotta feeling that this upcoming season is make it or break it for Hardaway as Tigers head coach. Memphis has a new AD in Ed Scott + even newer senior deputy AD in charge of MBB. Ironically, the latter - Tim Duncan - was a teammate of Hardaway at UofM in the early 1990s.
Anyway, looks like former Indiana / UAB / Detroit Mercy HC Mike Davis will replace Stansbury as associate HC for the Tigers.
Just finished watching a couple of vids discussing today’s purge in Memphis MBB. Of course, a lot of speculation about what happened.
Local Grind City Media wonders if the Tigers could be facing more NCAA sanctions: 
Field of 68 posits that - outside of Stansbury - the dismissed staff were not up to par for a program that operates at a de facto P5 level. Plus Jeff Goodman - who’s never been a fan of schools hiring NBA guys - also said this is probably a make it or break it season for Hardaway:
I suspect Nolan Smith will be thinking twice about joining the UofM staff now, especially after the debacle he endured the past couple of seasons as an assistant at UofL. Had been rumored to become an assistant at UCF under fellow Duke alum Johnny Dawkins until news last month that he was headed to Memphis instead.
