Just about makes up for this past weekend. AAC needed a win like this. Pretty sure Hurley’s post game will be as colorful as what he said on court to get T’d up!

It’s always somebody else in our conference doing the big things. Never Charlotte. Makes you wonder why.

I’m hopeful last year won’t prove an aberration for us, USF, etc. Although UAB hasn’t lived up to preseason hype, we’ll see once league play starts. I’m also hopeful that Nika will be up to full strength by the time we play vs Tulane on New Year’s Eve.

Here’s wishing Memphis can maintain this successful play for an entire season, unlike last year when they imploded after rising to #10. It’s likely the AAC will be multi bid only if another team besides the Tigers is crowned champion in Fort Worth. This year likely ā€œmake it or break itā€ for Hardaway. So far so good in Bluff City.

Wichita State shaping up to be this season’s breakout team, but won’t really be surprised if things shake out differently. Such is life in a conference that isn’t fully invested in hoops by those in charge.

Screw Memphis and Penny Hardaway!

I have no love for Memphis, but that was very clearly an over the back. Hurley and Bilas can STFU.

Yep, usually no love for Memphis either but the Tigers are the real deal and basically the only reason the national pundits are paying attention to AAC. Except for Bilas but we already knew non-P5 not worth his precious time.

Plus it was great seeing Hurley lose it and be a big reason why his guys lost!
