Fanta’s observation above reminds me of that ill-conceived experiment by C-USA in 2018-19 to somehow land additional NCAAT bids by reshuffling league opponents after the first 14 games of the conference schedule. Only con man consultant Mark Adams came out of that pleased since the league actually paid him $50K for that ridiculous idea!

Yes, Shockers win over an albeit shorthanded Saint Louis team - Robbie Avila still out due to the injury he suffered on opening day - was a positive for the AAC.

See that #2 UConn is favored by 8 1/2 over Memphis. Huskies aren’t the same team as last year but still formidable and deserving of their lofty ranking. Tigers will need to bring it for the entire 40 minutes.

UAB just rattled off a 12-0 run to take an 81-73 lead over 1 win Louisiana.
