Pretty sure the officials for Memphis vs Mississippi State were an SEC football crew. Not because they were the reason the Tigers lost but for how much rough play they allowed.

And in the bigger upset today at MSG the Buckeyes knock off UK. Highest scoring offense in men’s basketball kept in check and then some.

No surprise Memphis out after thumping by Mississippi State, which enters the poll at #19.
Seems like going to 20 would solidify metrics even further but as we’ve seen with football, SEC doesn’t actually like playing each other.
Pretty easy explanation - tech called on A-10 player in an ACC arena. Didn’t help in the end as St. Joe’s prevailed vs VA Tech
