Vertically challenged refs perhaps? Never dealt with having to hang on the rim to balance themselves.

He was doing him a favor. Changed the headline from ā€œplayer misses wide open dunkā€ to ā€œref calls erroneous techā€.

Announcer commented on the playerā€™s misjudgment while also recognizing what would have happened if he had let go of the rim earlier than he did. Dumb call but didnā€™t affect outcome. Saturday was a pretty bad day for the ACC in OOC play save UCLA chocking down the stretch to gift the Heels a win at MSG.

All those millions to Osobor not enough to beat the little olā€™ Jesuit school just 3+ miles away in Jet City.

Memphis #46 and North Texas #70.

I like Pope but this is crazy.

Loserville hangs on to beat EKU by 2 at home. I watched the end. EKU hit a 3 to go up 1, and then Loserville got away with a flat out shove on a drive on their winning score. Shoved a defender to the floor before passing it off for the basket. Home cooking that we never get.

They got one more point when EKU fouled them after a failed inbounds.

Yep, Niners know something about getting shoved in the Commonwealth:

First win on the road over a top 25 team for Utah State since 1991.

Was a good game. Watched most of it

Reminded me so much of classic Niner wins. Sigh.

Hereā€™s that non-call from the Loserville game:

While itā€™s quite blurry, I canā€™t see a difference in that and what the SDSU player did in the prior clip. Defender in motion with feet not planted, pushed to ground, no call. Iā€™d think they should be offensive fouls, but I donā€™t know what they are calling these days. At least they appear to be consistent in this small sample.

Watching UVA is about as painful as knee replacement surgery. Excruciating pain

So much for the plane issues:

Another surprise in the Big XII.
