Not quite the classic Friday news dump but pretty close though not unexpected.
Been an interesting hiring cycle, especially with the emergence of NBA hires. And now someone who most recently has been a HC in the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the top professional league in Italy. And, of course, where Henry Williams flourished after being snubbed by Jerry Tarkanian et al.
My recollection is that the Niners are owed a UVA game as well.
Third time is not the charm for Barbee. Hasn’t been able to recapture the success he had at UTEP though he did better at CMU than at Auburn. Maybe Cal will take him under his wing again.

Certainly different - though much more conventional - than Samford’s previous hire of a high school coach with no college experience. Apparently former UAB coach Jerod Haase was also a finalist. Anyway, shows that the Bulldogs are serious about hoops post-Bucky Ball.
