Iām much more angry with the skyrocketing season ticket prices than the coaching search.
Halton has become a library. Very short sighted in my opinion.
At some point we have to value creating new fans, not just squeezing the ones we have for more money.

We have an aging fanbase. If youāre brand isnāt growing itās dying. Thatās especially true when most of the alumni at games have full heads of gray hair.

This is just a very mundane early season game from 13 years ago. Not a big one, not a rivalry.
Doesnāt even seem like the same arena. Just way less humans in the building.

Walking out of Halton last night I said the same thing. The fans that are there are true supporters, but theyāre all so old. If we donāt start winning regularly, we arenāt going to replace them. Running out of time.

Yep, Iāve felt the same. I used to sit down low for several years with my son. Last year he wanted to move up to the upper level and we did.
I attempted to move back down this year, but once I got a sense of what I was going to have to pay, Iām staying where I am.
Attendance has not been good. Even the students have not been showing out like last year from what Iāve seen.

Losing to LIU and ETSU will dampen spirits and dissuade students/fans from coming back. Itās just old ass die hards that are coming. Itās pathetic, but IF YOU DONāT WIN, ESPECIALLY GAMES YOUāRE SUPPOSED TO, getting and keeping support/attendance up is nearly impossible.

Itās a combo of so many things that have absolutely destroyed attendance.
Performance, prices, nil, portal, newer students caring less about sports, time from when we were last good, poor ambassadors of the programā¦. Just so much.
