Are there ties with Gaber and Albin? This would make sense as there was a lot of reporting w her being closely involved with the hire this time around.

Guys, if you know something and its reliable go ahead and post it. You posting it will not make the new coach change his mind. All these deleted posts and making comments about its happening is just ridiculous.

If Mike gets Albin he does not need a bonus or extension. It’s wtf he’s supposed to do and what he should have done when he hired Biff. But if it’s someone that good everyone who is able should send a donation to the football program to show what hiring a real coach can do.

I start this by saying, I really would like Albin to come here as others do. I know we all want him to come here, based on his success and ability to turn programs around. When I start a negotiation with someone, I try to put myself in their shoes. What are his motivators, what’s his end game? The question I ask is why would Tim Albin want to come here? He has it made where he is. He has the attention of the lower P4’s and all the G5’s. He is in the discussion with at least 1P4 now, I think there will be more tomorrow. Like normal I think OH will give him a bump to try to keep him. If his goal is to coach a P4 program, be in the “varsity league” so to ay, why would he start over again here? He has already proved he can build a winning program from the ashes.
I am just wondering, What do you think Mike Hill’s pitch to him is?
For one thing, a 50% increase in pay
