I honestly believe this may be one of the biggest losses in Charlotte Football history. The kid was willing to stay even though being offered big money from other programs. Publicly put out what would make him stay. And we chose coaches over players. Players win games.
You can group Purdie with the basketball kids all you want. This kid was different mentally. He was willing to change Charlotte Football. Relationships mattered to him and his family. We didnât adapt. I love the Albin hire but didnât hate the Brewster hire either. Hope Tim can throw.
