Who are some QB follows?
Cade mcnamara and matthew sluka, the unlv qb who left bc of that nil dispute. Our coaches also following 2 uncommitted nc qbs, khalel wright from country day, and keegan chambers from monroe
Trying to get a 2nd source on this. If so, wow.
Thereās also a pretty hateful reply to that tweet that I really didnāt want to give more air to. Please ignore it.
Did they follow McNamara and unlv kid a while ago or recently and after our other 3 commits?
Iāve got no hatred towards Purdie at all, but I did say I was shocked he went to UF. No way were they going to start him over Lagway.
No to the kid from UNLV Sluka. Hard no.
Letās not forget Purdie is 18.
If it was himself itās forgivable and I can understand it. We all make dumb decisions at 18.
If it was his family or agents they should be ashamed of themselves.
This is a black mark on his record though and itās going to take some work to erase it.
It looks like recently but im not savvy enough with social media to know
Why? He seems pretty goodā¦better than cade
I donāt think heās good.
As soon as he left UNLV got better.
Thats fair. Id probably rather add a freshman qb as our 4th guy
Yes I would want a freshman to learn from these older players
Thought the Purdie news would be a bigger deal.
Saw some people on Twitter calling for him to return, but I dunno how that would work out for him.
clt wishes the best for Purdie, but we have portaled over him. he would have to sit on the bench here
Wasnāt UNLV undefeated with Sluka at the helm? I am not too sure they were that much better with Williams. Sluka was pretty much a dual threat. That always comes in handy if your OL is suspect.
schools started so wouldnāt he have to wait till the spring window?
How the hell do you get admitted and registered this late in the game?
So⦠If Purdie already received some NIL money does he have to give it back??
A few random thoughts:
Some people think Poggi would have been fine if given more time. Some think Purdie should still be at Charlotte. Some people think Albin should still be at Ohio. But, life goes on. We are always better off hoping for a good future than sitting in remorse about the past, and at the same time, we can hope for others to succeed in their new environment.
The Bootle addition is great. Not only is he a player, but he is likely a leader as well. I see that his bother was a team captain at Nebraska. This fits the mold for Albin, looking for good character in addition to athletic ability.
As for which QB will start for Charlotte, Iām quite sure that all three of the new QBās believe they have a chance to win it. Loftis and Harrell have more stars, but Wilcke has more starts (he started for S. Miss. before his year at NWCC). For that matter, I hope that Bushee believes he can win the job as well, and is focused on trying his best.
Random question for you, since youād know better than us, but why do you think cj doggette chose to go to fau, instead of following albin here?
