Outside of ECU, we are lucky to have our other two wins. We are a hand full of points and me not crossing my fingers from being 1-9.

That was mercy ball, they tried so hard not to score in the 4th qtr after scoring 31 in the 3rd!ā¦. They still ended up with 14 in the 4thš„

It boiled down to two things:
Couldnāt even threaten to stop the run, Their O line pushed our D line around like toys
Purdie with 3 fumbles and two interceptions. No team can even hope to win with that many turnovers on our side of the field.
Bowl aspirations gone.
Defense didnāt bother to play today.

got down thanks to 3 straight turnovers and had to start throwing more. We ran it ok in first half

Thank you, I agree. We got behind quickly and had to adjust game plan. I said it before the game, we are putting the game in the hands of a guy that was playing in the 2nd round of MD HS playoffs last year at this time. It was 100% the right choice to start Purdie but you are going to get crazy stuff from a 17-18 year old, good and bad, he will make incredible plays and bone head plays. He will learn how to run with the ball while protecting it, and not think he can fit the ball in tight windows all the time because he can throw hard, etcā¦ Today was bad, no question. I have read this entire thread and not one mention of OZ? Our D got run gashed constantly, as well as their QB had all day to find a receiver.
