Shot in the dark, but anyone have a GOLD Lot 23 pass they are not using and would like to sell? Been to a game ever year and they are always 50% empty. Hoping for some southern hospitality.
I would say generally, the folks that can afford access to buy Gold Lot passes donāt frequent our message board. Hereās hoping Iām wrong and you snag one.
Does Charlotte Business Journal have a comments section?
clt imagines the chat pagers do pretty well
I have a season pass for union deck and usually do the alumni tailgate or tailgate in the deck. We bought a couple of passes for blue lots 7/7A for this one. Any tips in regards to these two lots?
I know I posted the tweet - but anyone coming to the game that wants to help support those in WNC in need please bring some supplies to the Normbulance. We are working with App, UNCA and our BoT on getting supplies to those communities. I am also trying to get info out of Western Carolina Univ see if we can send stuff there too. Any help is appreciated.
As always anyone and everyone is welcome to come tailgate with us. I think we will have a crowd of ECU folks joining us and bringing stuff. If I donāt know you it doesnāt matter. Just come join in on the fun.
Thank you for all you are doing. It is so refreshing to see how people pitch in and do what is needed without prompting. The struggles in WNC shows us just exactly what is important in life. Again, thank you so much.
Lower blue lot is usually more occupied with several regular tailgate groups.
Only Niner Club tickets are left.
Gonna be packed, 18,651 is the largest SRO when A&T came to town in 2017. How many do we think will be in attendance this time?
How many can we legally squeeze in?
I think the Niner Club probably reduces the total number we can get in, also that A&T game it was almost too much. It was 3-4 deep around the whole stadium. Iād say we get @ 17k.
That was cool to see with the extra bleachers on the away side. Itās crazy how much bigger it made the JRS feel. A 4 story press box and upper level will be wild.
That is with the temps though. I think he was saying largest crowd with SROs and no temps.
Really wish we could have brought in temps for this game, but when I talked to AD over the summer they said they are expensive to set up and to really recoup the money need to have them for multiple games - but we didnāt have games close to each other to offset paying rent on them for multiple weeks.
Interested. Canāt message you.
Thatās right! Too bad the economics didnāt work out for temp bleachers. I remember when an arson torched AA Crockett Park in Dilworth and George Shinn brought in temporary seating while Knights Castle was being built in Fort Mill. Of course, with a 72+ game MiLB schedule, that had many more dates to recoup those costs.
If we ever started winning, we could leave them up all year till the expansion is completed.
