My prediction for the Press Conf on Tue.
Hunter seems to get the first question most of the time; Hunter will ask “Coach, who’s starting at QB this weekend against Navy?”
Biff; “How did I know you were going to ask that question? First, I just want to say I think we had our best practice we have had this year today, and on the QB question: no comment”
Big game just got bigger with Navy being ranked. What better way to follow up the demotion of ECU than with out first victory over a ranked team. It won’t be easy but this is another opportunity to take a step forward.
clt says being in the AAC is a bigly step up. We could have 4 ranked teams if Tulane and Memphis keep winning
We get no respect from the National media. Sports Illustrated’s weekly AAC rankings have Army #1, Navy #2, Charlotte #11, and ECU #7!!! WTH??? Beat their butts and SI still puts them 4 spots higher than us???
When did SI (or CBS, ESPN, etc) rankings actually count for anything? Just saying…
They obviously count to Major49er…
Just looked at the Navy schedule and they have only played one school that has a winning record (Memphis). Three of the schools they played have a 1-5 record (Temple, UAB and Air Force) and the other is 3-3 (Bucknell, and they have very weak schedule). IMO, if we play with the intensity showed against ECU, this is a winnable game.
