was a good interview. Woody is a solid guy! Great coach! Looking forward to this season!
Just finished listening to that Mid-Week Podcast. It’s lengthy, but if you’re a 49ers baseball fan who really wants deep insight into the program, it’s well worth a listen.
Great information. I just wish you could speed up the podcast like YouTube. 1.25 or 1.5 speed is what I do for work webcasts. Woulda shaved 20 min off the 65 min podcast. Woody is such a solid dude! We’re so damn lucky to have him, his leadership and support of the great coaches. Surrounding himself with greatness is paying off for him, the coaches, the team, and the players and fans! Looking forward to some great baseball this season!
Congratulations to Dante DeFranco!

Damn a Pirate !
It was a good interview.
I like the “bend but don’t break” mentality while taking on the #8 OOC strength of schedule last year. We were certainly battle tested with that tough schedule and it paid off as the season went on. We took our lumps at times, but paid off in the end.
I think our schedule is going to be even tougher this season. We get 5 OOC weekends now with the number of AAC teams being smaller, and we have put together a gauntlet leading up to conference play.

That pic reminds me that we’ve got some new leather this year. We are officially a Wilson glove school now.
clt asks where are the A2000s?
I love em all, except the black and gold App State one
I used to hate new gloves. Had to break them in all over. Used to oil them up. Other would wrap up a ball inside and put them in a bucket of water for a few days. All sorts of tricks. I kept one as long as it held together. Of course, back then my family and I could not afford a new gloves every year!
Your family couldn’t afford a glove? Mine couldn’t afford a bare hand.
Wrap them up w/ a ball inside and soak them in Neetsfoot Oil. Anybody remember that? Me and Ty Cobb! LOL
clt says put a ball in the glove and put in under some 45lb plates
