UNC Asheville game has been canceled due to weather for tomorrow, so 3 more games at the Hayes this weekend.
Just go ahead and cancel the remainder of the schedule. This year is toast. We need a serious upgrade on our pitching and to get a whole lot better defensively.

Those kinds of games havent even gone our way lately.
I do think our defense has improved in recent weeks. Maybe its WHO is playing where moreso than individual improvement though. For instance, I think Nolan is MUCH better at first base than Correa. I waa glad to see that change a couple weeks ago. Bayne is really good in LF as well.
There is plenty left to play for. We can finish as high as 3rd or as low as 10th. Only Top 8 make the conference tourney. ECU & UTSA are the only 2 that have clinched a spot in the AAC tourney with 1 weekend left. I think if we win 1 this weekend that would secure a spot.
Weโve proven we can beat anyone (except WSU), and proven we can lose to anyone (except Memphis). Most of the teams in this league are just like us this year. There are 6 teams within 2 games sitting in the middle of the pack.
Tulane won the AAC Tournament last year as a 7 seed after only winning 7 conference games all year. Anything can happen in these conference tourneys.

We had this game won. A BS HBP call followed by a misjudged fly ball in RF gives Tulane the tying run in the 8th.

2 errors give Tulane 2 runs and the win in game 2. That will be a painful loss in regards to conference finishing order.
Anyone have an Update on Miles Longhorne? Heโs no longer listed on the official team roster.
Currently down 5-0 in the rubber game. Hopefully weโve saved the offense for the last few innings.
This team looks as tired of playing as I am of watching 'em.

Well, the team made a valiant comebackโฆand then proceeded to give the game right back. Even after Tulane tied it back up in the T9, when you have bases loaded and 1 out and need just 1 across to walk it offโฆyou cant leave em loaded.
