That park was definitely not a wind tunnel this weekend. Hop would have had a grand slam today if the wind was blowing like it did the last time we were there.
It seemed very pitcher friendly all weekend.
All that said, we’ve certainly struggled offensively several times this season so far. We have a lot of big bats to replace from last year and some guys are struggling to fill those holes.
I was very happy with what we did on the mound this weekend. Lots of arms looked good.
I agree…overall, pitching was pretty solid. It was certainly good enough to win more than 1 game with just decent bats…i DID think Hopsons was gone off the bat.
