I hope we can get our bats started. We have not hit the ball well so far this year (except Davidson game). Our team average is 0.232. I have been very impressed with Ector who puts the bat on the ball every time up. Pitching for the most part has been good. Need to start us a winning streak.

I just saw the worst call by an ump i have probably ever seen and it LITERALLY gives Winthrop a run. Total BS.

We are definitely not as strong defensively as recent seasons…we ARE better and more aggressive on the basepaths though.
Catching is hard. Catching for Winthrop is harder.
We have 10 stolen bases through 7 innings. Im not sure we had 10 successful stolen bases all of last season…yes, im being facetious, kinda.
What a crazy ballgame! Errors, wild pitches, steals, you name it. Back and forth we go. Niners ahead 10-8, top of 8th. Hopefully AJ Wilson can close the door.

UNCW used 10 pitchers while CLT used 7
