Definitely a lighter shade of gold than what I was expecting. I’m fine with it but feel kind of let down.
Big fan of the number on one side too, gives it the old school like. Glad we finally have Gold, going to have to get me one of those jerseys.

I was the opposite. I was worried about dark gold. Dark gold is a horrible color. I think light with white pants was the perfect play.

I felt like we were gold jerseys in basketball for the majority of home games.
I prefer green but the light gold looks pretty good in the video.

I would love to wear gold, but I have nothing in gold and I’m betting 99.9% of everyone else doesn’t either. Guess if gold shirts are on sale I’ll get one. Would be nice if they had a ton of gold shirts at this game for sale, but I’m betting they won’t.

(light) Gold / white is probably also preferable to dark green on hot days, which is about half our season. Especially since most teams don’t wear white at home.

Is the NCAA going to let us have the white numbers on gold or will they make us sew green numbers on top like they made us do a couple years ago?

Yikes! A gold out. Do they think I’m Donald Trump? I’ll look and see if I have anything remotely gold, but I ain’t springing for new gear. Call me a rebel, if you like.
I love that OneCampus has the gold gear but no one on the official site seems to have a clue the home opener is a gold out.

I was thinking the same. I’ve checked Fanatics, Charlotte online Bookstore, etc and there are virtually zero gold options except for oneCampus Co. I’m moving my son back for his Sophomore year tomorrow, so I will see if the bookstore has items not shown on their website.
These types of decisions simply make my head hurt. I love the new unis, but you can’t announce this and say the first game is a “gold out” two weeks before the game with literally no gold apparel options.
The only way this works is to have a gold t-shirt on every seat (which we know will not happen).
Tried to order 3 t-shirts and 1 polo at OneCampus and shipping said that it would arrive around 09/09. A little late for the game, so I guess that isn’t an option either.

Love the chrome gold helmets we had in the past . Pretty much hate everything else gold because it looks tan/beige.
