Objectively speaking these have been very easy wins although Tulsa having a bye week before us and playing to stay alive for a bowl made that game more stressful than I would’ve liked. This is exactly why we fired Houston because he probably wins these games as well. I will say however that your change to Purdie having an immediate impact has been the same story with our shift over to Katin Houser. Will be interesting to see if Poggi can have you guys close in dominant fashion similarly to how we’ve mostly looked these past few games.

The schedule is tough…it’s going to be tough next year too. We have to win games. Anything less then 5-7 (really want 6-6) and I will remember this season has another disappointment. 3-9 would be a disaster.
Lets end this losing streak tomorrow and get back on track.
Schedule strength is pretty much a crapshoot considering how early most OOC games are determined. And then conference decides league matchups. Not exactly on a par with how basketball does things. At the end of the day, just need to go out on the gridiron and win.

Figured I might get the AP Style excuse about the hyphen.
And I am quite aware that Charlotte College was established in 1949, thus 49ers. I was pointing out that UNC Charlotte as an institution was founded in 1946 with the opening of the Charlotte Center of UNC! 
Anyway, I am going to follow up but not right this moment as to not just tell The Assembly staffer to go F himself!

It’s partially tongue-in-cheek. I’m also hoping that 6 wins and an ass-kicking in a bowl game isn’t our golden age.

Poggi needs to hire his potential replacements on both sides of the ball, and let them do their jobs. He needs to motivate and recruit. Leave play calling to experts.
Get us bowling and in a year or two later, ride out on a high horse.

Listening to the “Afternoon Rush” and consensus among Al, Bobby, and Mark is that Max Brown will transfer. Mentioned Brown being from Tulsa and perhaps that could be a landing spot.
Not really a surprise given Poggi’s publicly stated vote of confidence etc for Purdie after the USF game.
