I dunno if Kentucky fans are gonna want to play the slow tempo game that favors Ali. Not saying that to trash him. They are impatient as hell and used to high scoring teams. If they are grinding out 50-49 games, their fans are gonna hate it I think.

And according to this Vols fan site piece, Igor may also be considering Rutgers, as well as a return to UVa:

BBN won’t have to worry about offensive tempo under Pope. BYU averaged 81.4 ppg this past season. Anyway, would think Khalifa will also visit UK while in the Bluegrass State next week.

Whats up with Rutgers!?!. They have 2 top 5 McDonald’s AA already signed and now all over the portal. Who is buying their team for them??

It’s in New Jersey…the mafia needs to launder money somehow

When HPU stated they had 1 million for NIL this year they were not bluffing…

They should ditch the #TP4PT slogan and logo. The point being asserted is laughable.

High Point coach is the real deal although not sure that specific transfer is.

HP has bucks

High Point has bucks. But don’t they have huge debts?

I’m not a fan of their ultra luxury college experience strategy.

Hopefully all the investment is paying dividends for the city of high point and the triad and not just that wheeler dealer that’s been their leader for years.

High point(the city, not the school), is still a dump.

Yes I am aware. I drove by the HPU campus a few months back just to check it out while I was up in Kville to visit my mom and the campus looks great but it’s a flower in a desert.

One of the worst ā€œnice campus, surrounded by crapā€ I’m aware of.

HPU is another situation that pisses me off because they will soon be starting some professional schools.

Like all the other recent small privates that have started professional schools that logically should have been started at UNC Charlotte if not for the UNC BOD and anti Meck bias in state government.
