If you do the math, with over 1875 D1 players having entered the portal across 362 Mens D1 teams, the average is a little over 5 players per team.
So basically half a team gone. Incredible and I believe unsustainable.

Since that 1,875 number includes walk-ons, I usually subtract 10%. Still comes out to around 4.5 scholarships players per team, so one third of a squad.

Anyway, been a busy weekend. Expect next few days leading up to the May 1st deadline are going to really be crazy, especially since grad students are now subject to the cutoff as well.

I would agree 99% of the time with this sentiment. However, I know this kidā€™s family and they are legit good people. He is the younger brother of Hunter Tyson who played at Clemson and is now with the Denver Nuggets. Good Union County family. His dad is a HS Principal and played at Wingate years ago.
