2024 College Football 🏈

They could have played tomorrow or Sunday at Jerry Richardson Stadium.

That’s a great idea

What would the logistics be of doing that on such short notice? No fans - just family members? Etc, etc.

And, of course, just making it from Boone to the QC.

ECU played Miami in NC State’s stadium 20+ years ago after a hurricane.

They probably only wanted BoA. Have to have a stadium large enough for App’s 8 million fans.

clt says the security costs would be tremendous. we don’t want them using our sinks to take “indoor showers”

App sent all their students home yesterday anyway. Friends daughter is a freshman there. She got home late yesterday.

Apparently some still there since I saw a few on WCNC 36 who were wading through Boone’s flooded business district.

Nephew is stuck in Brevard. No power or internet. His mom would be freaking out (aka trying to drive up there) if there wasn’t a parent’s group where someone said they contacted their kid and everything is okay.

Midway through the 1st quarter it’s 0-0 Indiana vs Maryland but the key stat is Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke has already thrown 2 INTS!!! I guess he was overdue!

See that Davidson’s conference opener at Presbyterian scheduled for today has been moved to Davidson with a Sunday kickoff instead.

I think I may go, just a shame Carrburrito is closed on Sunday. But there is a Qdoba on campus…

Missed FGs doomed Washington last night.

Indiana up 42-28 over Maryland, late, and it hasn’t been that close. Maryland just scored.
