The “crowd” at this game is pathetic. I’ll be surprised if it survives another year.
Let’s replace it with the famous toastery bowl which I have it on good authority was the greatest bowl game in college football history. It will live in our memories forever.

Buffalo back there. Yeah Buffalo. Are they working on a residency at that bowl? 
I don’t understand how these oddball bowl games can sustain themselves. We outnumbered Buffalo with 4X their attendees in the Bahama’s and the stands were still 2/3 empty. Never mind that Healy didn’t take it seriously and we crapped in our helmets.
I will aay that Texas State showed out last night and had a lot of fans in attendance. Good on them.
They sustain themselves because ESPN sees to it that they do. Ditto the holiday basketball tournaments. TV content.
This game today is a joke. Nobody in the stands. Most of Liberty players not playing or in the portal. Can you imagine how much alcohol is not being consumed and how much gambling is not being done by the Liberty fans (what few there are)? And it is a blowout.
And yet the TV ratings are through the roof etc. P4 and ESPN + Fox laughing all the way to the bank.
I know Liberty didn’t have many at the bowl game but I wish we had their attendance at home games. With that being said, I do wonder if Chatwell regrets leaving CCU.
At more $4 million per year, probably not.
