I would think Ledecky will get her fair share of the House settlement should it get approved. And that’s fitting since the main plaintiff in that lawsuit, like her, was a swimmer in the Pac-12.
Though she’s not a multi-millionaire like her uncle who’s an NHL owner, she is a millionaire nonetheless. And after four more medals etc, her net worth is most likely going to increase quite a bit.
It is true that she turned pro while attending Stanford, but she did continue with her studies and graduated in 2021. And since she’s seems committed to performing in the 2028 LA Olympics, couldn’t see her going to grad school just to play a season or two of volleyball or another sport in which being 6’ tall would be an advantage.
I do love how the ACC is claiming her medals as wins for the Conference
