It seems we have too many people handling the ball during our burn down the shot clock offensive strategy which leads to turn overs.

At 4:52 mark of first half it was 26-25 USU. All Aggies since.
Yeah. Say what you will about the talent, it does not feel like our scheme is capable of winning basketball.

Looks like we have some decent talent. Just not putting them in any position to be successful. Time for a change

Fearne has no offense. I was still open to Fearne coming into the season, but im done now. He needs to go. This team has individual talent, but plays horrible together at both ends. We do not play to our strengths. This team shouldbe pounding the ball inside. We have size advantages most every game……Thats coaching and its bad.

Fearne had one good run with 3 really good players as the interim coach but once he got the head coach position, things went back to our normal loser mentality. Really miss the days when we were tough to beat at home against the good teams and took care of business against the teams we should beat. This team has no fight or spark. Fearne blames the players. I blame the coach.

What i can’t figure out is which is worse our defense or our offense? Thoughts?
When Bonke is off the floor our defense is really bad.

The air left the building today, and it may not come back. I support Fearne in trying to get this turned around but i cant tell if we have a single player that gives a crap. Horrible display today by coaches and players.

I think today was it for Fearne unless he reinvents himself and this team in conference play…
Which isn’t happening.
I spent all game wishing we could switch coaches with the other team. That happens far more often than I’d like to admit.

That’s harsh, cause I don’t dislike Fearne personally like I did Sanchez, but man, that’s hard to argue against.
I really really really hate the idea of wasting this season. This is the most talented team we have had in at least a few years. I think it’s deeper than the CBI team. It’s just being completely mis-coached. I think we could even bring in a mid year hire and turn them around. It’s that bad. Wish we had hired Ryan Odom back when we had the chance.

I thought Fearne was thoroughly out-coached in every aspect of the game. Talent level seemed pretty close and our players were more athletic but our level of play was not even close to theirs.
Our offensive set if that’s what is called is so obvious Utah State easily read our passes and cuts.
I still think Byron Dinkins could do a better job than Fearne if we make a change. Don’t know anything about the other asst coaches but I know Dinkins was the main player that turned the program around in the Mullins era and has been in our program a long time similar to Melvin Watkins.

After leading for the last time 17-15 we were outscored 64-38. Turnovers were obviously bad. We continue to shoot a lot of 3’s despite not being a good 3 point shooting team (same as last year). As bad as last year was, we were 6-4 through first 10 games. Fearne isn’t stupid, he knows the writing is on the wall with a new AD coming.
Our next 4 opponents are all under .500, hopefully we can take advantage.
