Unforced turnovers and not finishing at the rim were our biggest problems in the first half.
Hot take……our 3 best players are/should be Bonke, Conyers and Villar.
I think Elliott is good too.
How many lay ups can we give up? Not sure I’ve seen this many ever.
Has Fearne finally realized that we should pound the ball INSIDE to Bonke?
Glad Bonke got over his first half pity party.
My starting 5 would be Villar, Harrison, Conyers, Elliott and Bonke
Yeah, I like that….worth a try…..I will say Butler had been playing fairly well also, before getting hurt tonight.

We are close to turning things around but the inability to make the winning plays in crunch time does us in. We don’t have the star player to steady the ship in those situations.
Fearne shortened the rotation some tonight which was a positive.
That says he is 28 years old? Was he really born in 1997? He was a 23 year old freshman?
We simply cannot reliably score the ball. Our guards got pushed around by Temple’s guards when we were on defense, but despite that, we got enough stops to win if we just finished our fast breaks and put in our bunnies and layups. The refs actually did send us to the line a fair # of times and we shot FTs well enough too. That scoring drought in the first half was essentially the game.

I agree. Villar by far our best defender
Fearne was swapping Villar for Harrison late - Defense for offense.
Matt said Eyenga and Gomez would miss the Wichita State game as well.
Also, hopefully Bonke learned the importance of being on time, which is why he didn’t start tonight. Definitely came out in the second half with a better attitude!
Eyanga suited up today
Would like to see more pounding inside to Bonke also!!
