I canāt remember Madingās offense very well - though I recall him having one good game.
But I think I do remember him being a better shot blocker and rim protector than anyone else on the roster. He was all MEAC defensive team last year.
The other criticisms of him may be valid - but until Bonke learns to play defense effectively, Mading seems like a good situational sub at minimum.
I didnāt remember it that way but his stats arenāt terrible. Looks like heās losing minutes to Conyers, Elliott, and Eyenga more than anyone. At first I thought Richart was getting all of his minutes but heās only played double digit minutes 5 games all season.
Eyenga seems very raw to me. I liked him at the beginning of the season, but I think that stretch he lost to injury really set his development back.

Weāve got to cut down on turnovers. Too many lost possessions last night where we just handed them the ball. And I feel like Eyenga is one of the main culprits. The last few games seems like he turns the ball over every time he touches the ball. Itās so frustrating.
Last night it was Bonke (5) and Bradford (3) who were the āturnover twinsā with just over half of our 15 miscues.
Noā-Richart is playing very similar minutes to what Mading was getting early in the yearā¦..the only time Eyenga hasnāt gotten minutes is when he was out hurt.
I donāt know, maybe. In games Mading has been healthy heās averaged 6 minutes. Richart has been healthy all year and is averaging 4.3.
Before Mading was benched he was averaging over 10 minutes per game post-injury.
Oh Iām sure they give a score. Sorry but I donāt trust the monitoring of some colleges.
No just lost time but I think Eyengaās injured hand still affects his play a little.
