I got tickets to this game with three others!! I’m pumped to see us reclaim the trophy!
It’ll be a real home court advantage. The kitties’ fans are too skeert to come to Halton. They haven’t come here in years. Can’t handle the NINER fan heat directed at them and their boys. ![]()

I think we have a team that can retake the Nest.
That trophy always reminded me of Balok from the original Star Trek. Unique but butt ugly.
Yeah I forgot how ugly that trophy is. It makes it funnier that it’s hard to find a high res picture of it anywhere
It used to be called “a brain on a stick”, it looks like an alien from Independence Day…
Would this be Fearne’s first OOC signature Win?
Does he have any yet? This would be one of his biggest.
Beating #17 FAU is biggest league win.
Nothing signature about beating Davidson other than county bragging rights.
Now, if we can beat VT and/or Utah State, that would qualify.
Agree but theyare a quality, respected program
Yeah people forget FAU was #17 when we beat them. That was huge. And people are so ready to pass him off which is such a shame. I love Fearne
True but post-Bob McKillop just ho hum.
Davidson would be a signature win in my book! They’re our rival and a decent A-10 team now
MVC fav Illinois State received a good bit of preseason hype but so far have been rather disappointing. I had figured the Redbirds would be one of our OOC losses but not so sure now. Like our chances on the neutral court in Orlando on Thanksgiving Day.
BTW, Davidson handled Wazzu with ease last night and so far without heralded freshman recruit 7-0 F/C Ian Platteeuw - Raul Villar’s MVP teammate on Spain’s 2025 U18 EuroBasket Championship team. Reportedly recovering from an injury.
Is Wazzu any good though? They lost to Idaho.
Middling West Coast Conference team most likely. Picked 6th out of 12.
It’s weird that they both ended up in Meck county
Not sure how much longer Matt McKillop will last at Davidson without something to show for it. Have seen him on “hot seat” lists this season and last year as well. Sons following successful fathers typically don’t fare well and so far that is the case here.
