Had a chance to watch finally the replay of the Tenn Tech game (since I couldn’t be there) and I really believe we have a solid team this season. The good: we can shoot the ball so much better and have better rebounding. Agree that we’re better with Bonke, but we’ll learn how to be good when he’s not on the floor. Bad: Turnovers, that got sloppy with telegraphed passes and lazy passes, plus a bit of misunderstandings…all that will be cleaned-up I think with more games. I also think the fouls disrupted the team’s flow, on both ends of the court.
I know nothing about Davidson, except they’re usually a disciplined team with good shooters…don’t know if that’s the case this year, but their history.
If we cut down those turnovers and continue to shoot as well as we have the first two games, I think the Niner are walking off the court 3-0…please baby jesus, let that be the result, my Niner soul desperately needs that 3-0.

If we enthusiastically defend the three and significantly limit the three, we’ll win. We cannot allow their shooters to go off on our home court. We just can’t.

I posted that particular prediction because it was such a different take from others that have either team winning a very close game.
Wasn’t a slight at you. Are any of these things not AI generated anymore? For all the hype, AI is effectively even lazier at its predictions than the human hacks that preceded it.

Didn’t take it as a slight at all. Just thought it odd that given the series recent history - two 4 point games and a two point OT one - that a double digit outcome would be predicted for this year’s meeting.
