We,are not good, but F the foul calls USF is getting. We canāt get near them,but they can reach and hack us constantly with no call.
We played 10 minutes of decent basketball then it fell apart on us. Unforced turnovers, inability to defeat the double team and a lack of aggression on rebounding the ball killed us quick. We canāt defend the three out of the zone defense and we canāt rebound in it either! Why the f are we playing it?
We could have been good if there was someone there to coach them. So tired of watching this crap
USF with 12 pts - 9 fast break - off of 10 Niner turnovers vs 0 and 1. Thatās the first half difference.
A TEAM is only good if they work together. This team has never felt like they were working together. Is that the coach or is it the players trying to āshowcaseā for the next level?
Trying to replace 6-9 guys every year and have them coalesce into a team is going to kill a lot of coaches.

This team was 7-2 in the American and finished 9-9.

This has to be one of the shortest game threads for menās basketball ever and itās a microcosm of where our fanbase is at right now.
There are many fans who have left the fold and I remember asking myself at times how can they just give up? Looking back, Iām not so sure what they have missed in the years since their departure.
We are 5th in what is a bad basketball league. USF is definitely the top of the league by far. How they played reminded me of what we were 20+ years ago.
I remain convinced that our demise has been fully orchestrated from outside of the Universityās local control. We have had every reason to be successful in athletics, yet we continue to fail. By far, we have more potential than any other university in the state. Itās just a sad shame.
In the past we were a āSleeping Giantā , now we are a āDead Horseā.
Until he structure of College Athletics changes back to something that we can compete in, I
just donāt really care. Sad, I know.
I see a lot of empty seats when I flip through games on TV. The destruction of college sports is in full force. The combination of bad decisions within our Athletic Dept and the NIL landscape buried us. I just hope the new AD hire is not another bad decision.
We need a major catalyst to revive this program. $$
We can compete in this era, but notif we hire crappy head coaches. Programs with way less nil are doing well. Itās not the era, itās our incompetence. Hopefully white fixes that
Hereās an idea!!! Why donāt we offer hornets Konās brothers ( he has 4 younger ones) . Acorn doesnātfall too far from the tree. They can see Kon play in Person as well as Kon could watch some of their games. Money might not be as much of a factor to them like others. I know itās far fetched but at least try. Raise a couple Million NIL and offer. You never know but it would put us on the map.
