Yep, this definitely isn’t last year’s VT squad that had Mike Young on the hot seat. Plus having a likely lottery pick certainly helps.
What a difference a year makes. St. Joe’s beat VT 82-62 at the Palestra last season.
With all the Hype on VT now maybe they will pull a Niner on Sunday.
Making the trip to Blacksburg and believing for an upset. Who knows maybe this is Fearnes game.
As I said in another thread, NINERS sadly embarrassed in a 102-67 loss.
And yes I’m still agonizing over losing to a very beatable davidson team when we couldn’t hit wide ass open threes. 
I hate losing to Davidson as much as anybody, but on the brighter side, if Aaron can spin it into an object lesson and it pays of later, it will be worth it !

Yeah. I remember one year we lost to davidson and in very next game we beat a ranked louisville team at the now Bojangles Coliseum on ESPN. I think that was the game Bobby Kummer got his teeth knocked out and kept on playing.
Man, I miss those gutty Niner teams.
I used to get legit mad when we’d beat Davidson but it was too close (like only win by 10-12 points).
