my bad, didnāt see this original post. I agree with your comment, nice guy, gets along with fans and alums but that has shown to be not a recipe for success in the past. I hoped, like others, he would have a leg up on recruiting international players wanting to play in the US. Doesnāt look that way

All I can do is laugh.
We are going to waste Bonke. He will get his, but at this rate we wonāt get ours. He will get paid next year and start on a P4 and at this rate we will have underperformed as a team with what looks like arguably the most talent we have had in many years.
We make it so hard to be a fan. Iām tired of hearing we need to be playing our best at the right time of the year. Iām tired of hearing about the process. Itās ludicrous how bad we have been for so long.
Itās too bad NIL didnāt hit while Lutz was here. We had crowds and I bet we would have pulled in some NIL. I think Bobby would have flourished in this because he really didnāt seem to like recruiting anyway.

Fearne doesnāt get paid a lot, so the buyout shouldnāt be too much. Agree about that first paragraph. We canāt count on peaking later in theseason. Every game matters. But more than that, there is no reason to believe fearne can have us peak when heās trying to play this slow packline. It doesnāt fit our personnel
Time to shorten the number of people playing and have a shorter bench.

I agree. We have a lot of bodies, but not a lot of talent outside of the starting 5.
Mading and Harrison are about the only two coming off the bench that should get many minutes. Anyone else should be for a minute or two to give the starters a breather.

What we really lack on this team is leadership. Nobody has stepped into that role snd it shows

This offense is supposed to produce back cut layups and open 3s. It does neither. Other teams defend it quite easily by letting us pass and cut in circles until the shot clock runs out and we have to throw up a desperate 3. No reason to foul and the refs are not going to bail us out as we try to draw a foul Ć la Nick Graves. Itās getting old and this is the problem with Fearnes. He is stuck in his old ways and it looks so much like Sanchez 2.0. We are sick of it and thatās why no one shows up for the games.

It felt like we played faster against isu, and have subsequently slowed it down. Also, too many rotations yesterday. Harrison only 12 minutes.
We keep referring to Fearneās first year as Head as a good year. If weāre honest we underperformed that year which had 2 future starters on teams that spent time in the AP top 5, and a starting Big 10 transfer on it. Iām ready to be done with anything related to Sanchez!

1000% agree. 19-12 is not a good record, especially against a weak schedule, and with guys like igor, dj, lucye and graves

Weāre not good. Just donāt have that guy when you need a bucket that can say give me the ball and the F out of my way.
I get so freaking tired of the blaming of officiating. Hell I can break down a film and show you a missed call on almost every possession of the game by both teams. Why do we want more calls anyway? Canāt hit FTs well enough to capitalize on it.
We actually went to the rim more than App did - 25 times vs 17.
Yes, play our top 7-8 guys 95% of the minutes unless injuries or legit foul trouble come into play.
