Only been a little over a month since the AAC hired Tranghese as a consultant, so not aware that any directives have been issued on scheduling. And don’t forget - took almost a decade for the SEC to go from a handful of annual NCAAT invites to being “top dog” after implementation of Tranghese’s recommendations for that conference.

Yes and no. Though there are 12 public institutions of higher ed, only three are campuses of the University of Illinois system - Chicago, Champaign-Urbana, and Springfield.
Including an NCAA first round game.

That 12/21 game is same day Panthers play at home at 1:00. 
VA Tech and Virgina are good names to have on the schedule. Definitley better than last year.

This is actually a pretty solid schedule. Va tech, indiana state, davidson, etc. Not sure if they are real resume win type teams, but lets win them and worry later
