For the 2024 game, Tennessee and NC State were guaranteed $4 million each, or 45% of net revenue. The 2023 game between UNC and South Carolina saw the teams receive $2.5 million each , an increase from the $2 million guarantee due to high ticket sales
I copied that from google ai results. Clemson and Georgia tech got 5 million one year.
the payouts appear be be tied to ticket sales, with a minimum guaranteed amount.
Given that the upper levels aren’t selling tickets, I suspect what we get will be substantially less than these other games.i bet it’s still a million or more though, but that’s just a total guess.

Does anyone think ticket prices will drop at all?

I doubt the resale value for tickets will be super high so could see them falling towards game time.
Weather looks perfect for game night though so who knows. That could prompt a lot more interest in the game from the last mi the crowd.
Let’s hope the band figures out where the game is by Friday

clt is predicting a BIGLY student turnout. factors are in place
-weather is ideal, so no issue taking the light rail
-students are getting settled into routines and new housing, perfect time to head uptown after partying last week on campus
- have a feeling a student ticket discount may appear, covered by a large donor*
*no inside knowledge, just a theory

I thought student tickets were already sold out?
Has anyone seen a 2 deep for the game yet?
Edit.. seems like it may be released tomorrow.
I am seeing only 42 seats left with half those singles. That does not include the upper half of the stadium which will probably not be open.
Do you mean 42 seats left in the entire lower bowl or are you talking about in the student section(s)?
I wish they would open the upper bowl in the middle like some Charlotte fc games and for tickets to be sold cheaper

“They’ll cut down on the turnovers, they’ll run the football, stop the run, and not be a penalized team.”
IF they can do this, I will be happy.

I saw only 42 total in the lower bowl. All on our side but still very few. Those will sell.
The problem with opening the top is having the food and restrooms open for just a few. If the demand was much greater, I guess they would.
only 30 now and 22 are singles. That may just be our allotment. I have no clue how everything works.

clt says let the upper deck just become chaos. no security, food or restrooms.

Not to mention it looks worse on tv if there’s only a few people there vs it being totally empty. IMHO.
For real chaos make it General Admission. Fun times for all
Also, per Loggains, how can there be 2.5/3 in competition for QB? There is half a person?
