If we could score 24 points in this game I’d consider a success. Probably impossible.
If they can hold Tulane to under 28, I’d consider it a success.
Tulane may run their offense like last year against us which was very vanilla. They may want to exercise their passing game, but they potentially have to host the Championship game in 5 days.
What worries me, if somehow we stay close to Tulane, the AAC refs will be sure the Americans only ranked team wins.
Actually I’m worried we somehow screw this up for the league and win.
Hopefully we screw this up for the league.
Albin wanted this game to mean something. Beating a ranked team is definitely something.
Go 49ers. No need to hold anything back. Take a season of frustration out on Tulane.
From Wilcke’s bio. He can beat Tulane. Let him cook.
- also threw for a pair of touchdowns in victories against Tulane and Louisiana in 2022
I know, I know this is a very different Tulane, but please don’t roll Loftis out for 4 quarters of 3 and outs. I would at least like some excitement.
Let’s put Navy in the championship game!!
FWIW, that could make JMU the fav for the G5 spot in the playoffs.
clt says lots of talk about us during the unt v temple game
I know they will start Loftis, but I’d like to see them put in Wilcke in the second quarter, with the understanding that whichever plays better will play the second half.
