As far as ticket prices go, remember that if you want to have this kind of game in the first place, it needs to be profitable. The alternative, of course, is to play a game at UNC and have them pay for it. Because the game at UNC is paired with this one, Charlotte will not get paid for the game at UNC, and they need to make the money on this one.
Will ole miss tickets be more or less than this game? I’d assume less and less popular but like for most, there’s prob a huge ole miss contingent in Charlotte so who knows. SEC should be big time.
I’m not even sure that game happens, since the SEC is going to a 9 conference game schedule.
Agree 100% that beating APP will lead to better attendance for Carolina game.
I think the plan was good, just overpriced the Bleacher seats.
Hard to see a casual Tarheel fan taking a family of 4 to the game at those prices. Maybe that was the plan??
clt is confused. we are not playing carolina. that was a few years ago
Not everyone is a family of four though.
AD needs dynamic prices based on income, kids and race
Ohio used to have a limited number of heavily discounted Family packs, Four tickets to every game, not in great seats, of course, but probably at half the regular price. I don’t know what stipulations came with them, nor how they decided who could buy them. It might be that two of the tickets had to be used by minor children, or something. I do recall that they always sold out, and probably helped build some long time fans among the kids.
Mark Colone started a cheaper family 4 pack for basketball in the early 2000’s. I believe it’s been discontinued but may be worthwhile to start back.
They had one for football a few years back. Came with parking and a meal voucher but I don’t think they’ve done that in 4 or 5 years.
Ole Miss cancelled their game with USC to make room for an additional conference game. Our games are on the books still.
Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss are going to pass up an easy W. Since it is a home/home series they don’t have to pay Charlotte to play at their place. Win/win.
Why is it at the alumni pavillion and not the outdoor stage?
Hopefully it will be free beer to watch this crap. Not Chris
clt says it looks like green on the alum side, white on the student side for saturday
It’s that way on CF26
I have two tickets available for this game in 103, row 12. Seats 24-25 (end of row).
I paid $298 for both. Just looking to get face value back out of them if possible.
Maybe because the concert is open to everyone with a ticket and the stage is at the student tailgate. I’m not sure if you have to be a student to get into that area but that would be my guess.
