We’re gonna win by virtue of USF only looking at Harrell film and the players thinking they don’t have to practice
clt says the sharps are betting Charlotteor they don’t know that we lost our QB1 and most dynamic player
Negative points?! ![]()
Looks like an AI error. They are predicting a score of 41-14, and I can’t blame them.
The interesting thing about that summary is how close our QB/WR/RB stats are, albeit, USF has faced MUCH harder competition. Their QB is considered to be a stud, but his #s look a whole lot like Harrell’s before Connor went down.
Harrell going down really sucks. It felt like he had worked thru learning the offense and things were finally starting to click. We were in good shape to win the Rice game with him playing and could have been sitting at 2-2 with an offense that was starting to look competent.
Figured the prediction was 51-10. Either way, expecting a romp.
My friend and I joke there’s something in the water. Every single team gets marred by injuries from college to pro

Should show all the tread marks as we get run over.
Bulls going retro with their unis.
They’re doing their late 90s logo for some reason. Don’t care. Won’t change the outcome.
Let’s just win this game and get it over with! Go Niners!
Pretty neat we are on cable two games in a row
Worse, unless I misunderstood, when asked if Gainey would start, he answered that all the backs had practiced, but that a couple of them would be game time decisions as to whether they play. My guess is that Gainey is questionable, and one other, perhaps Smith or Stokes. That means we might see more of Cobb this week.
The good news is that King will be back, and so far, Charlotte is “only” missing 4 starters for the season (Harrell, McGowan, Burgess, Rutledge). Let’s hope that some of the others, such as Gainey, Williams, Tifase, and , Olson are back soon, and that no one else gets hurt.
My hope for this game is that Charlotte continues to show improvement in various areas, and no one else gets hurt. I’d like to see the defense get some stops, and a turnover or two, and have the offense get some rushing yards, and not give up too many sacks. If Charlotte can hold it to 31-10, I’ll be happy to move to the next game.
Benson,
Your write-ups continue to be some of the most thoroughly analytical around. I really enjoy reading them. Subscribed and thanks for doing them. I know it’s tough when we are struggling this much.
