I was afraid this would end up being a noon game. Glad it’s a 3:30 kickoff
And we have finally been relegated to streaming services again
Best kickoff time possible for homecoming and an October 18th game.
Yeah Temple is a pretty good team this year. I’m not expecting a win from this week either. At least the Panthers have figured out how to win. My weekends aren’t crushed every time now
clt says weather looks ideal
I have several friends coming in for this game since it’s homecoming. Weather looks great, excited to tailgate and catch up.
Temple is pretty good, 2 of their 3 losses were to Oklahoma and Georgia Tech. They take care of the ball, no interceptions thrown on the season, 1 lost fumble. They average 172 yards rushing per game.
I was really hoping we’d do a classic logo game. This will be awesome
That is the best logo we have by far and yes I am old and biased. Love it!
I wish they did the full color version of the logo but the green on white fits the overall aesthetic I guess
I will be arriving on Wednesday night for this game, and leaving on Sunday. I expect a win. I think it’s time for them to put a whole game together.
Go Charlotte.
Will do! Looks like it will be just down the road, as I’ll be at the Sleep in on Tryon. Of course, I suppose I’m due for a lynching….
Actually, I feel like I’m seeing some of the things I told you to expect, such as genuine adjustments at the half, and adaptive changes to the circumstances, and a team that fights hard to the end. I definitely wasn’t expecting Charlotte to start terrible, however. They have improved a lot, and are now “bad”, a big step up from “terrible”, but still not enough. It is clear to me that Harrell was by far the best choice at QB, so his loss has hurt quite a bit, and has put a cap on the team’s ability to improve. For the team to win again, I think we need to see King back, some players back at D-line, but most importantly, we need one of the QBs to settle down and play, if not great, at least consistently.
Not trying to be too much of an alarmist but don’t leave anything of value visible in your car. Property theft is a thing in University City. Campus is very safe but some of the surrounding areas can be sketchy.
Yes. As soon as I saw you’re staying at the Sleep In, I was going to say pretty much this. And add BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS at all times. But I don’t want to be an alarmist either, but be safe.
