Agree on Rocky River.
None of you schmucks are going to play golf with him?
clt played RR this week. the brakes on the carts are barely functional, so just park against a tree
This particular schmuck will be at a charity golf outing on Friday. I’m assuming that’s when Carl is looking to play.
I appreciate the suggestions, thanks! I’m going to try to play Rocky River this afternoon, and figure out if I want to play the Sifford course tomorrow. I said hi to Mandy for you, clt. Looks like it going to be beautiful fall weather this weekend, perfect for a Charlotte win!
Trust me when I say that when it comes to my golf game, I’m doing Carl a favor. I am confident that I am the worst golfer on NNN, by a healthy margin.
Carl, I hope you have a great time, and if you need any more recommendations please just ask.
Haha, I’ll easily challenge you for worst.
Maybe we should all play….I am confident I am worse then ALL of you
and I like golf for some strange reason.
I’d join you if I lived closer Carl. Hit ‘em straight
Carl - also check out Picassos. The one bar in Charlotte we can absolutely call ours.
clt says golf is pretty easy. drive on fairway, hit on green, two putts
Carl arrives in Charlotte and our AD and head trainer is out the same day, what a start to your niner fandom
Maybe Carl is interviewing for AD…..

Carl, you do realize that if we beat Temple, you will not be allowed to return home. ![]()
I can’t go to the game this weekend, out of town. But whatever tailgate he goes to, we need to hook him up. He has been full time therapist to this board for over a year. Carl, I want you to have fun and I don’t know where you are in you life, ie if there is a Mrs Carl or not, but I am sure one of these guys can hook you up with a chick. Just give em the nod
Jk, have fun at the game.
You may or may not be the worst golfer on NNN, but I’m confident that you NOT even close to the people I was paired up with. Rocky River is a very nice course, but very unforgiving if you hit a bad shot. I played well for me today (with rented clubs), and only missed a few fairways (though I sure missed my own putter and wedges). However, two of the three errant drives ended up in the woods, with lost balls and a double and triple bogey. That said, I spent the entire day looking for lost balls. The other three in my group lost about 20 balls each, making the round take 5 hours, much too long. I have never in my life seen so many ball hit into woods, creeks, and ponds.
No matter… The win Saturday is what I am here for. The golf was just for fun.
