Nobody cares. Program is dead.
Shocker on the womenโs side. With a NET of 65 and no wins in Q1+Q2, Runners are likely outside looking in for the NCAAT.
According to the AAC website, #1 UTSA was defeated 62-58 by Rice, opening up the tournament and maybe making the AAC a 2 bid league.
Highly doubt it, womenโs hoops is even worse with P5 bias. Will be stunned if league gets 2.
Metrics arenโt good enough for UTSA to get an at large:
Says we are 1000-1 odds to Win tourney. Next worse Tulsa 300 -1, Rice 100-1.
Niners a VERY long shot:
UTSA lone top 4 seed to lose.

No surprise to see North Texas and UAB on Mr. Clicheโs list.
A post was merged into an existing topic: 2024-25 AAC Basketball
Houston Owls take out the Philly Owls.
Edit to Hunters Article - only 12 teams make it to Dickies arena, we start in Dentonโฆ
The Super Pit will be just as empty as Dickies will be.
Question - i probably know the answer, do any of our Fans travel to the Conference Tourney anymore?
The bigger question is do any fans of AAC schools travel to the tournament. One reason this is the final year in Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth finale! Makes me wonder when the new location will be announced.
