By this metric the AC shouldnโt be able to cannibalize itself during these conference games, the ACC should be. It would be a crime to not have a bye-bidding conference champion and maybe another one at the 12 spot.
Most CFP projections Iโve seen this week have #12 as AC champ (Memphis/USF) vs SEC at-large #5 (Ole Miss/Oklahoma/etc), although there is a #11 USF vs #6 LSU.
clt says eCu is ok,
Tulane finally gets a TD:
Just reading that Vannini - who lives in Dallas - will be reporting on the USF vs North Texas game as well.
As he noted earlier this week, an initial Athletic assignment involved Memphis football.

Nice to have a national writer paying attention to the American.
The Tulane crowd looked pretty small for how good the team is this year.
I met a guy at lunch today with a Tulane hat on so we talked. He son is at Tulane and they are in the middle of mid-terms so his son hardly any students were going to the game. Plus, they only have around 3k undergrads I think.
Latest Tulane enrollment per official website is 14,664 (13,303 FTE) total students with 8,997 (8,522 FTE) classified as undergrads.
Gotta admit i envy the position UNT is playing in tonight. Environment looks great. They are one of the few teams we have beaten consistently in big games in the past.
See that Dan Wolken is also at the game
Knew Vannini would find a way to get a certain UNT alum into his posts!
This vid of the Commish and UNT AD Mosely has been slowed down so maybe thatโs why it sounds like the crowd is booing. Hmmโฆ ![]()
UNT QB throws the ball with little regard where itโs going.
