That ump should be forced to watch replays of his call for 24 hours straight. That was a very terrible framing by the catcher and he fell for it.

You guys really need to listen to Joe’s broadcast instead of whatever schmucks the conference hires.
Total wasted opportunity yesterday. At one point, Pruett had 4 IP on just 45 pitches. Woof.
Bad 3rd strike call but we made it too easy on them. Lifted the ball all day when it’s pretty obvious their infield is weak. Hit some damn ground balls.
Also the pick off on second was ridiculous. They don’t have a better view of that for review? As an old broken down middle infielder I can tell you from where he caught the ball there’s no way he got him. That said why was he’s that far off the bag in that situation is baffling.

Exactly! From the terrible replay angles, he certainly LOOKED safe, but the camera work was so pathetic, you couldn’t say it with certainty.
One of those calls that couldn’t be overturned due to lack of evidence. Ump screwed us, but what can you do?

We reverted back to our offense that we saw for the first part of the season. We made Pruett look like an all-American, pitching 5 innings of no-hit ball. He threw 9 pitches in each of his first 2 innings of work. Of course it was his best outing of his career. They made a couple of plays behind him but we made him look much better than he is.
Actually, we made eastern look much better than they are. They are not a good team.
And as it turns out, we walked a guy to load the bases, then we walked in what ended up being the winning run. That just cannot happen this time of year if you want to keep playing.

Im sorry, but outside of Gillespie, our pitching has gone to complete garbage. Although our bats have not been super impressive the last 2 days either. Swinging at pitches in the dirt or 6 inches off the plate, then watching fast balls right down the center of the strike zone and never taking the bat off their shoulder. Feels like we are wasting a pretty solid season away right here.
