2025 Charlotte 49er Football šŸˆ

I expect burgess to be good. Good size and a quick first step. Him snd mullen should be quite a duo. My guess is holley and solomon start at DT

Defensive tackles are crucial in the 4-2-5 scheme

Coaches shouldn’t ever finish out their contracts… should always be extended or get fired with 2+ years left. Just how it is for players to feel secure/stable when choosing a school.

That’s certainly was the case, now I’m not so sure since a kid can leave right away.

Anyone else having issues with trying to add the tickets to their Google wallet?

Every other game shows up as the Tarhole game when I try.

They will automatically switch after UNC to our next home game. Similar to if you have a gold card for soccer

Yep-----each set of game tickets shows up AFTER the previous one. IIRC, that is how it has been the last couple years (for me at least).

If you haven’t seen this, would advise you to watch / listen. There are some good bits of information including position and scheme discussions. Worth the time investment.

Yes it’s the all in 1 feature we’ve had for a few years now.

I wouldn’t take this too seriously, but here is A depth chart (not to be confused with THE depth chart):

As I watch the interviews, two things pop into my mind. First, the players and coaches both seem to be enjoying themselves. Second, no one is making any excuses. Everyone seems to expect this to be a pretty good team that gives a good account for themselves. That doesn’t mean it will be a good team, of course, but having a good team starts with a good attitude.

We certainly haven’t given anyone reason to be optimistic about our program since the one winning season we had, and our schedule is brutal, but damn the level of negativity is a bit much.

I like it. I think if we can run the ball and stop the run, we are going to be a good bit better than these people expect.

I’m ready for a kick ass and shock the world season in football like I witnessed in two basketball seasons in ā€˜75-ā€˜77. Magical like nothing else.
