I graduated in 2006. Also, i don’t think it’s too much to ask to win a lot of games, but when we say we want to, our fans respind eith, “you’re being irrational.”
That ain’t gonna happen. Before it was a long shot. Now it’s near impossible and we won’t have the financial resources to be one of the few G6 programs that can rise up.
If we stopped charging students fees to fund this crap I’d feel a lot better about it.
Thanks man. That’s what we wanted when we started this tailgate group up in 2011. Seeing everyone is always great and honestly the only thing that has kept me going.
We have a good nil and one of the top budgets in tge AAC ao that’s simply untrue.
Our overall athletic budget is 11th in the AAC 22% below average. Our NIL budget might be decent but it’s not going to allow us to compete nationally consistently.
As Coach said recently our entire nil budget im basketball is what some power teams spend on a single player.
Okay but our nil budget in hoops is quite good compared to most non p4s. Also, hill said our budget(or whatever it’s calked that includes player retention) is top third in AAC. Additionally, our nil budget in football(altgough it could always imorove, and winning helps with that) is definitely good enough to compete with any g5.
We are going be behind all the top G5 programs such as Memphis and Boise St and the like. So what you are saying is we are in line with the upper half of G5.
Good luck consistently winning nationally with that.
More importantly not a single dime in student fees should be funding sports with kids making money.
I have always said I was in until death because I have nothing better to do.
Not so sure with the direct payments from the AD funded by student fees.
This may be the last year but honestly I doubt it.

Football Q&A from Hunter. He answered several people, so just work off that tweet.
Clearly, Albin wants to know and honor Charlotte traditions and history. He is not attempting to transplant an outside culture or traditions to Charlotte, but rather he wants to build a new, winning culture in Charlotte unique to Charlotte. Whether it’s little things, like shirts or hats, or bigger things, like the choices in motivational speakers, Charlotte history is clearly what he wants to build on.
Hopefully those speakers can also write us a big check too
Joining the other three late additions (Eli Reed, Chris Rivens, and Tyson Craig), two more players have been added late:
#73 Tristen Brown, DL, 6’3” 295 lbs, from Concord, NC
no roster # yet Will Estes, LB, 6’1” 210 lbs, from Cary, NC
Sadly, Mayes still is not on the roster, so he may not get another year.

Didn’t realize we had history and traditions in our football program
I kid…kinda
Brown just switched to DT. Played LT in hs, but good size so I imagine has some upside. Ncaa doing their usual bang up job giving quick rulings on waivers
