There was a time when I really wanted to see Freeman return to his home state and don a Niner uni but no denying there is a lot of baggage.
It is strange, but at the same time i suspect some of these guys that would need a waiver to keep playing were told by coaches to move on because they didn’t want to hold a spot open for them just in case they get it.
Eventually they’ll outlaw eligibility restrictions and we’ll get 30 year olds playing college basketball.
