Niners recruited during the 2023 Transfer Portal cycle when Cornwell transferred out of South Florida.
Everyone is chasing $$$. This is ridiculous and I believe it is unsustainable in the long term.

BTW, speaking of Davidson, chatter has Bailey may continue to be a Wildcat - a Kentucky Wildcat.
Edwards one of the number of former AAC players who had a very nice season in the SEC this year after transferring to Vanderbilt from North Texas.
Supposedly cost the Bruins somewhere in the $2M to $3M range. Definitely seven figures.

Only problem with this argument is 3 of those guys transferred in before transferring out.
I’d prefer some kind of roster continuity, even if we miss out on some talent, over this free for all.
