I would think Blackwell will initially have the easier transition having already played D-I at Alabama A&M before spending the past season as a JUCO. That said, looking forward to seeing what Villar can do.

The back up PG doesnt traditionally get many mins with this regime, so is Raul starter quality? Moving Mingo to another guard position.
Whom are our five quality starters at this stage.
I definitely think mingo would have started over blackwell. He was a pg at marshall. Blackwell probably would have come off the bench. My guess for starters as of now:
Mingo
Harrison
Butler
Conyers ?
Mudag(sp)
I think one of our starting bigs is not yet on the roster

FWIW, the post in June that he had signed didn’t come from the AD, so guess today’s announcement makes everything official.

FWIW, Gomez puts us one over the limit of 15 players - which includes both scholarship and walk-ons - per the new roster rules.
Also, believe this is the largest number of foreign MBB players we’ve ever had in a single season with 7. Not counting Bailey since he’s a military brat.
