Not much positive to report other than Jiminez hit a 3 run bomb and aome decent defense.
Carson did have 3 hits if I remembered correctly.
JT and Combs had effective innings.
If only there had been Twitter updates every half inning or something. Somebody should think about looking into that. 
It was a typical Fall exhibition against a talented opponent. SC spent some serious money in the off season and it shows. Both sides were rotating arms in so no one got in a rhythm. We probably used 14 or 15 pitchers to get through the 112 innings.
The lineup looks close to being set. RF still needs to be figured out. That probably winds up being platooned between Hudson and Demartino.
I feel bad for Wesley Jones. He gave up 5 in the 3rd and it seemed to set the tone for what was to follow. It’s worth pointing out that an error set up that series of events. You never know how it might work out differently if that doesn’t happen.
The biggest concern by far tonight was the hitting. Especially with RISP. We had a knack for hitting the ball right at defenders. They, on the other hand, found the holes. That’s baseball.
In the end, it was a Fall game. The good news is that we get another crack at them during the regular season. I’m looking forward to seeing how we measure up farther down the road.
