Wednesday nights pitching was mega impressive!

Dawson Bryce has been primarily working at SS with Adrian Jimenez from VCU.
Newcomer Gustafson has been working at the corner infield spots.
Rivera and Nedry seem to be competing for the 2B spot.
Gunderson was catching last week in the game I saw, but I’m guessing he will be our first baseman. Koontz & Gustafson are working at first also.
Behind the plate, it seems like Strickland is the option with 2 Freshman behind him Orozco & Farris. Gunderson is also an option if we wanted more offense in the lineup.
Demartino & Hudson will be competing with returners Bayne, Nolan and Sutryk in the OF it appears.
I think we have good depth on the position player side with lots of flexibility.
Orazco has looked very impressive in the games
I’ve seen, and Ponnett is working 3rd with Max.
Gonna be some tough decisions for the staff!

Is there succinct way to tell us what has happened in the scrimmages? Overview?
I was there for a good bit of the scrimmage, but missed the beginning and end of the 14 innings.
I believe Munn and Oxborrow pitched the 1st & 2nd innings. There’s video of Munn in Joe Healy’s tweet above. Wesley Jones was pitching when I got there and he looked sharp in his inning. Healy also got video of him. Sometimes you can get an idea of what the staff is thinking by the order the guys are throwing in the scrimmages. Here are the pitchers that threw before I left.
