For the American to get multiple bids we need more Non-Conference wins from every team in the league.
Whether we get the at-large bid or another team does, we need to be contributing to that extra bid reality by winning as many games as we can outside of the league. I’m tired of us writing all of these Non-Conference games off as inconsequential. I don’t like the one bid league mentality.
I hope they leave the court design as it is. The current court is the best looking court we have ever had IMO
We have more talent than probably late 90s and maybe more top to bottom. We should expect this team to win 20 plus games. Half of the guys were top 100 high school players
Not only that but we have a legit big 12 quality backcourt, not just guys who played in the big 12, as well as a big ten starter

I may have overlooked it in the thread, but I read today that the Niners are playing an exhibition in Chapel Hill against UNC on 10/27.
The Tar Heels’ regular-season opener vs. Western Carolina is November 2 in the Dean E. Smith Center. That game follows two other pre-season games (October 18 vs. Indiana in Indianapolis and October 27 at home vs. Charlotte).

There was a time that this would excite me greatly. But I’m older now and seen a lot when we play them in anything. And when we do, we generally get jobbed. Especially on the road. So I am not looking forward to this and wish it had not been scheduled.
When official Niner social media reposts an item from an official Tar Heel X account, really drives home the fact that the Charlotte AD, two of the deputy ADs, and the men’s basketball coach are all UNC-CH grads.
I hate carolina but no it doesn’t. It just says that we are playing them and are excited. If norm the niner ever pulls a move like the UNCW mascot and poses with their mascot, I’ll be out there with pitchforks too

I’m just happy that they called us Charlotte on their schedule. The West Virginia fans at the soccer game tonight were calling us a “satellite school” (even as we were spanking their asses).
